Vehicle lighting
- A vehicle standing in a portal is now lit by both worlds at once: the half in the Nether by the Nether, the half in the Overworld by the Overworld, split exactly at the frame. It used to keep the light it had when it entered the portal on both halves until it was all the way through.
- When a vehicle's surroundings change (out of a cave, through a portal, past a lava lake) its light now fades over instead of the whole vehicle switching brightness in one frame, and the vehicle is no longer re-meshed to do it.
- Chests and other block entities on a vehicle take the same light as the deck they stand on, on whichever side of a portal they are.
- The new lighting also works under shader packs that read light the standard way (tested with Complementary Reimagined); other packs keep the previous behaviour automatically. Unchanged for now: under a shader pack a vehicle's blocks are not drawn while it is half-way through a portal.
hullLightPerPortalSide = falseinconfig/micimmptl-common.tomlswitches the previous behaviour back on.
Create Aeronautics balloons
A balloon ship no longer falls (or shoots up) after crossing a portal. It kept its hot air since 1.1.0, but three other things let it drop:
- Sable gives every dimension its own air pressure, so the same height meant different lift on the two sides
of a portal - down to none at all near the Nether's roof, which is where a portal built up in the sky
usually leads. A ship now keeps the air pressure it crossed with, so it floats where it comes out.
balloonLiftContinuity = falsegives every dimension its own pressure back. - The balloon was missing for a tick or two right after arriving. It is now rebuilt in the same tick.
- The arriving ship ignored every force for its first physics step. Those forces are now applied one step later instead of being lost.
In the test flight, a ship balanced to hover used to arrive with a full balloon and no lift and fell 44 blocks; it now stays within a twentieth of a block of the height it arrived at.

Fixes
- Fixed a crash on joining a world with Voxy and Immersive Portals installed but no Iris (1.1.0 only).
