Crouch and mine ice with a pickaxe to clear the whole connected ice vein in one go, with durability used fairly and safely.
Ice Miner makes clearing ice faster and more natural. While you are crouching, break any ice block with a pickaxe and the mod will also break the connected ice around it. This works with regular ice, packed ice, blue ice, and frosted ice.
Durability is handled in a simple way. The mod checks how much durability your pickaxe has left, then mines only as many ice blocks as that durability allows. The durability cost is applied at once instead of draining slowly while the ice is clearing. If your pickaxe runs out of durability during that action, it breaks normally and you hear the usual item break sound.
Large ice areas are cleared smoothly so the game stays playable even when a lot of ice is connected. Just crouch, mine one ice block with a pickaxe, and watch the connected ice clear out.
