Ice and Fire X Terralith
An unofficial Forge 1.18.2 compatibility addon that makes Ice and Fire: Dragons work correctly with Terralith biomes.
What it does
- Adds suitable Terralith biomes to Fire, Ice, and Lightning Dragon Roost generation.
- Adds the same biome coverage to underground Dragon Caves.
- Makes caves follow the matching surface region, even when Terralith places a different cave biome underground.
- Fixes failed worldgen attempts incorrectly reserving Ice and Fire's dangerous-structure separation radius.
- Fixes Lightning Dragon Roost generation reporting failure after a successful placement.
- Does not overwrite your Ice and Fire biome JSON configuration files.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.18.2
- Forge 40.1.37 or newer
- Citadel 1.11.x
- Ice and Fire: Dragons 2.1.12
- Terralith 2.2.6
Both original mods are required and are not bundled.
Installation
Place this addon and all required dependencies in the mods folder. Create a new world or explore chunks that have never been generated before. Minecraft does not normally add worldgen features retroactively to existing chunks.
Compatibility and configuration
Existing config/iceandfire/*.json biome rules remain active. This addon only contributes the missing Terralith compatibility when Ice and Fire's normal biome test does not already match.
This project is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ice and Fire or Terralith authors.
