🐲 Poison Dragon Combat Balance & Rework
🧪 Breath Attack Restricted to Stage 5
- Exclusive Stage 5 Ability: Poison breath attacks are now strictly exclusive to Stage 5 Poison Dragons.
- Stages 1–4 Breath Disabled:
- Dragons of Stages 1, 2, 3, and 4 can no longer breathe poison charges or stream attacks in combat.
- When ridden by players, dragons under Stage 5 can no longer be commanded to shoot breath attacks.
- AI behavior for younger dragons now prioritizes physical melee engagements (Bite on ground, Tackle in air).
- Dragonforge Requirement: Powering and charging the Poison Dragonforge with breath now requires a mature Stage 5 dragon.
⚔️ Melee Damage Reduced by 50%
- Halved the base melee damage scaling for Poison Dragons across all growth stages to prevent early/mid-game encounters from being overly punishing:
- Stage 1 (Hatchling): 1 damage
- Stage 2: 2 damage (was 4)
- Stage 3: 4 damage (was 8)
- Stage 4: 6 damage (was 11)
- Stage 5 (Adult): 9 damage (was 18)
- Melee damage scales proportionally with the
dragonAttackDamageconfiguration setting.
