⚡ IC2 Reborn
IC2 Reborn is a modern Fabric reborn of IC2 Classic.
The goal is to bring back the classic industrial tech feeling in a clean, modern reboot for newer Minecraft versions. The current alpha provides a playable progression path, but it is still an early test release and not a complete IC2 replacement yet.

⚡ Classic Cable Network
- Replaced the temporary cable transfer system with a classic packet-based EU network.
- Added legacy cable transfer limits, energy loss, insulation absorption, overvoltage, conductor breakdown, and cable shock damage.
- Added functional Detector Cable redstone output and Splitter Cable redstone control.
- Added cable coloring and color-isolated connections.
- Added Cutter interactions for adding and removing cable insulation.
- Fixed cables breaking in water.
- Fixed cable holes, missing faces, and mixed-thickness junction rendering.
🔋 Energy Storage and Transformers
- Added directional input and output sides for BatBox, MFE, and MFSU.
- Restored classic output packet sizes for generators and storage blocks.
- Added directional LV, MV, and HV Transformer step-up and step-down behavior.
- Transformers are now pure EU blocks without inventories or GUIs.
- Storage blocks and Transformers can face horizontally, upward, or downward.

- Added functional RE Battery, Energy Crystal, and Lapotron Crystal charging and discharging.
- Added machine and storage charge/discharge slot support.
- Added functional BatPack and Lappack with automatic tool charging.
- Added a functional Solar Helmet.
- Added Electric Jetpack flight, forward thrust, Hover Mode, EU usage, and legacy sounds.

- Added a functional Chainsaw with powered mining, combat, entity shearing, and legacy sounds.
- Added a functional Electric Treetap for powered resin extraction.
- Added a functional Electric Wrench with machine rotation, dismantling, legacy drop chances, and lossless mode.
- Added the original crafting recipes with electric charge preservation.
🌱 Classic Crop System
- Added all 22 original IC2 CropCards with their classic stages, requirements, products, and crop textures.
- Added crop growth, Growth/Gain/Resistance stats, weeds, trampling, hydration, fertilizer, and Weed-Ex.
- Added crop crossing and seed-bag production.
- Added analyzed seed bags and the four-level Cropnalyzer.
- Added functional Cropmatron automation with its classic work area and supply slots.
♻️ Recycler and Mass Fabricator
- Added classic Recycler processing time, EU usage, Scrap chance, and blacklist behavior.
- Added Mass Fabricator UU-Matter production with its classic EU requirement and internal buffer.
- Added Scrap and Scrap Box amplification.
- Added Mass Fabricator redstone control.
- Updated the Recycler and Mass Fabricator GUIs to better match classic IC2.
🐛 Important Fixes
- Fixed a cable network crash caused by immutable path data.
- Fixed machine GUIs failing to open while holding an item.
- Fixed the Solar Panel underside texture.
- Fixed Electric Jetpack movement correction jitter.
- Improved multiplayer-safe server-authoritative energy, machine, crop, and tool behavior.

JEI 30.x for Minecraft 26.2 requires Fabric Loader 0.19.0 or newer. When using the required Loader 0.18.6 profile on Minecraft 26.2, IC2 Reborn works but JEI must be omitted.
Install IC2 Reborn on both client and server for multiplayer.
