This is the Fabric version. This mod is also available for Forge, minus the toast control features.
This mod does three things:
- Unlock all recipes in the recipe book when the game starts (client single player or server side)
- Hide unlocked recipe notifications (client side)
- Hide tutorial notifications (client side)
You can configure which recipes to auto-unlock with a data pack. This is especially useful for modders who don't want their recipes to be automatically unlocked. Details are on the wiki.
Hello :)
First, thanks a lot for this Mods sargunv, (Would be awesome if upgraded too :P I may do it if you want ?)
For those who can't run this mods because of the outdated versions Here is a very small fix which is needed to upgrade it to 1.18 & more,
First open the .jar with WINRAR,
-Go open the file fabric.mod.json (Extract & open with notepad++/visualstudio or any editor)
-At line 28 change the version to your needs ( "minecraft": "1.18.x")
-Put the file back in the .jar and your DONE !
I've upgraded it to 1.18+ if someone still cant get it to work ask me I'll help or even post a link.
Thanks , Hope it helped
(NB: This fix work for a lot of mods just try ;))
This method still works for 1.18, for anyone wondering

Thanks a lot 😀😀
In reply to DSS_Assaro_Delamar:
nice
What about for making a modpack? Can I upload an altered jar file on curseforge for my modpack
In reply to GamerBolts:
Just tried that, they rejected it lmao.
A 1.17.1 update would be great thanks
In reply to cpm9_:
Download the mod, change the name from filename .jar to .zip, extract the files. open fabricmod.json in texteditor and change 1.16.x to 1.17.x.
Mod still works its just 1.16 dependency is hard coded.
(then do it backwards, select all the files in the folder (not the folder itself), add to archive, and change the.zip to.jar) You're done.
In reply to fiznik42:
if its that easy, why not just have it up for download under the right version? makes it easy for anyone else coming across the mod page
In reply to laptoppunk:
Because Curseforge is a pain in the ass when it comes to updating mods. It's a convoluted process.
In reply to meDMT:
It's really not, it's as simple as uploading a file and saying which versions it's compatible with.
Would love to see this for 1.17 if this is still being maintained!
In reply to Emberwyck:
Check my reply to top comment, mod actually works still
Can you make like JEI, but in the recipe book, yes its very similar to this mod, the different is all client, that means, we can unlock all recipe in client.
Would it be possible for you to add an optional feature that completely disables the crafting guide? There's this nasty crash that happens even in vanilla minecraft where the crafting guide will forcefully open itself if it wasn't open when you crafted something and if you close it after it starts doing that, crafting with the craft guide hidden will cause the game to crash.
Crashes on trying to edit config with Mod Menu, shows java.lang.NoSuchMethodError from rendering screen, using Fabric 0.9.3 on 1.16.3, build 207, crash report here.
1.16.3???
Current version works fine on 1.16.3, I've been using it with 0 issue.
will it work on 1.16.2?
In reply to JustMarkov:
Should work with all 1.16.X versions.
