📖 What is HX Events?
HX Events is the dedicated seasonal content and event gameplay expansion for the modular HX Server Suite on Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1. While HX Core provides the network-wide challenge tracker (/events), economy (HXUser coins), and admin dashboard (/hxadmin), HX Events brings your seasonal festivities to life with custom physical blocks, collectible currencies, trick-or-treat loot bags, themed consumables, interactive tools, and dynamic monster drops!
Starting with the Halloween Foundation Update, players can hunt monsters for spooky treats, search for glowing Cursed Pumpkins using a Soul Radar, crack open Goodie Bags for rare treasures and server coins, and collect shimmering Pumpkin Coins!
✨ Key Features (Halloween Update)
🎃 1. Cursed Event Pumpkin (hx_events:cursed_pumpkin)
- Atmospheric Glow & Soul Particles: A custom-textured dark violet pumpkin block with glowing cyan soul-fire carvings (
Light Level 12), emitting ambient soul flames and witch magic particles. - Native Scavenger Hunt Integration: Works out-of-the-box with HX Core's
SCAVENGER_HUNTevent system! Right-clicking a Cursed Pumpkin triggers eerie amethyst resonance and soul-fire bursts while automatically counting toward server-wide pumpkin hunts.
🍬 2. Trick-or-Treat Consumables & Buffs

hx_events:candy_corn): Fast, always-edible Halloween treat granting Speed II and a chance for Regeneration — but beware: there is a 12% "Trick!" (Saures!) chance that hexes you with brief Levitation and a witch's cackle! - 🍭 Ghost Lollipop (
hx_events:ghost_lollipop): Uncommon ghostly confection granting Night Vision (30s) and Jump Boost II (12s) for effortless night-time exploration and rooftop pumpkin hunting.

hx_events:spooky_goodie_bag): Right-click to tear open a Trick-or-Treat surprise pouch! Automatically credits random HX Server Coins directly to the player'sHXCoreAPIbalance and rolls tiered item rewards:- Sweet (Common): Bundles of Candy Corn

🧭 4. Soul Pumpkin Radar (hx_events:pumpkin_radar)
- Interactive Scavenger Hunt Tool: Right-click to scan a 28-block radius around you for hidden
Cursed Pumpkins,Carved Pumpkins, orJack o'Lanterns. - Visual & Audio Guidance: Sends a floating trail of Soul Fire Flame particles toward the nearest pumpkin and plays a distance-pitched chime so players can track down hidden event blocks by sight and sound!
⚔️ 5. Dynamic Monster Loot Drops
- Slaying hostile monsters (
Monster) during an active event has configurable chances to drop Candy Corn / Ghost Lollipops, Pumpkin Coins, and rare Spooky Goodie Bags. - Can be toggled live in-game at any time without restarting the server!
