HSTG: Permissions 1.0.0-1.21.1
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The first release. HSTG: Permissions ties commands to History Stages: whoever has the stage may use the command, operator or not. Everyone else may not, operators included. A command that no stage names follows Minecraft's own rules.
What's in it
- Entries are written the way you type the command.
minecraft.gamemode.creativelocks creative mode and leaves/gamemode survivalalone, minecraft.*covers all vanilla commands, ftbquests.*everything from FTB Quests. - A stage with
*gives its holders every command and takes nothing from anyone else. Good for an admin role. - Commands on the protected list (
op,stop, executeand a few more, editable in the config) can only be taken away, never handed out. The commands of History Stages and this addon can never be taken away, and the console, command blocks and functions are never checked. - Players only get tab suggestions for commands they may use.
/gamemodeonly suggests the modes they may switch to, and F3+F4 and F3+N grey out and skip the rest. - Individual stages can carry a prefix and suffix like
[Admin], shown in chat, the tab list and on name tags. - Every stage gets a Commands tab in the editor with a searchable tree of all commands on the server, sorted by mod. Typos and commands from mods that aren't installed show up in yellow.
- The History Stages config editor has an "HSTG: Permissions" section for the locked message and the protected list.
/hstgperms check <player> <command>tells you whether someone may run a command and which stage decides./hstgperms verboseshows every command players run, live.- Gaining or losing a stage changes what a player may use right away. Nobody has to relog.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge
- History Stages 6.1.0 or newer
- Goes on the server. On the client it's optional, but you need it there for the editor tab, the F3+F4 menu and ranks on name tags.
Everything else is in the Wiki.
