This source code is published for transparency, learning, bug reporting,
and contribution purposes. It is NOT open source under the OSI definition.
All rights not expressly granted below are reserved by the copyright holder.

Contributions (bug fixes, features, translations, art, documentation, etc.)
are very welcome. Please open an issue or pull request on the official
GitHub repository.

================================================================
1. PERMITTED WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION
================================================================

a) Reading, studying, and reviewing the source code.

b) Reporting bugs, opening issues, and submitting pull requests on the
   official repository. By submitting a contribution, you agree that your
   contribution is licensed to Flix100000 under these same terms and may
   be relicensed by Flix100000 as needed.

c) Forking the repository on GitHub for the sole purpose of preparing a
   pull request to the official repository. Such forks must not be
   distributed, advertised, or otherwise made available as a standalone
   or alternative version of the mod.

d) Including the official, compiled, unmodified mod artifact (e.g. the
   .jar file from the official CurseForge or Modrinth release) in:
     - public or private Minecraft modpacks (including commercial ones),
     - Let's Plays, streams, videos, screenshots, and similar content,
     - public or private Minecraft servers.
   No prior permission or notification is required for these uses.

e) Personal modifications of the mod for your own private use, provided
   the modified version is not distributed in any form.

f) Creating a technical port of the mod to a different Minecraft version
   or a different mod loader, under the conditions set out in Section 3.

================================================================
2. NOT PERMITTED WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION
================================================================

a) Redistributing the source code or compiled binary outside of the
   official release channels.

b) Publishing modified versions, derivative mods, or forks as a
   standalone mod. This does not apply to technical ports made under
   Section 3.

c) Re-uploading the mod to CurseForge, Modrinth, or any other
   distribution platform under any account other than the official one.

d) Using any part of the source code in another project, mod, library,
   or product.

e) Removing or altering this license, copyright notices, or author
   attribution.

================================================================
3. TECHNICAL PORTS TO OTHER VERSIONS OR MOD LOADERS
================================================================

Porting the mod to a different Minecraft version or a different mod
loader is permitted without prior written permission, provided all of
the following conditions are met:

a) The port must not introduce features, content, or gameplay-affecting
   changes beyond what exists in the official version. Any change
   beyond a technical adaptation requires prior agreement with the
   copyright holder; contact via Discord or GitHub before starting
   such work.

b) Before or upon release, the person creating the port must contact
   the copyright holder (via Discord or a GitHub issue) and provide
   access to the port's full source code. On every platform the port
   is distributed on (CurseForge, Modrinth), its license field must be
   set to a custom license linking to the port's license file (see
   Appendix A). Ports that meet these terms may be listed as verified
   on the official Wiki, CurseForge, Modrinth, and GitHub pages.

c) The port's full source code must be published publicly (e.g. on
   GitHub). It must include an unmodified copy of this license and use
   the port license template in Appendix A for the code added
   specifically for the port. The port's page on every platform it is
   distributed on (CurseForge, Modrinth, GitHub) and, where applicable,
   its in-game credits must clearly name "HSTG: Permissions" as the
   original mod and link to the official repository.

Ports that do not meet these conditions are not authorized and fall
under Section 2.
