Hollow Steve - A horror stalker boss that learns every time you kill it
Hollow Steve is a horror survival boss mod for Minecraft. It adds a tall, broken Steve-like entity that does not simply spawn and attack like a normal mob. It watches first.
From Day 1, your world starts to feel wrong. You may hear footsteps behind you, see smoke appear nearby, or notice something standing still in the distance. Hollow Steve can appear, stare, vanish, and disturb the player before the real fight even begins.
For the first two days, he is not fully hunting yet.
On Day 3, the haunting becomes a hunt.
Every time you kill Hollow Steve, he returns the next Minecraft day stronger than before. He gains more health, more damage, more speed, more reach, and more dangerous behavior. To end the Hollow permanently, you must defeat him 10 times.

🩸 What happens in-game?
Day 1
The world begins normally, but something is wrong.
Hollow Steve may appear as an apparition. He may stand nearby, stare at you, or vanish when seen. One early encounter can hit the player once before disappearing. The goal of Day 1 is not full combat. It is tension.
You are meant to feel watched.
Day 2
The haunting continues.
The strange sounds and apparition encounters become more noticeable. Hollow Steve still does not fully fight like a boss yet, but the player should understand that something is coming.
Day 2 is the warning.
Day 3
The hunt begins.
Hollow Steve can now spawn as a real hostile boss. He can chase, attack, teleport, vanish, and pressure the player. From here onward, killing him is required to progress.
After each kill
When Hollow Steve dies, he does not return again on the same Minecraft day.
The next day, he comes back stronger.
Kill 10
The final death happens.
Hollow Steve fades permanently, the haunting ends, and the player wins.
🎁 Reward progression
Hollow Steve becomes stronger after each death, so the player is rewarded with survival tools after defeating him.
Rewards can include:
- Totems of Undying
- Healing potions
- Speed potions
- Night Vision potions
- Milk buckets to help against blindness
- Enchanted netherite armor
- Powerful enchanted netherite sword
- Enchanted bow

These rewards are meant to help the player survive the later phases, especially when Hollow Steve becomes much faster and more aggressive.
