Hiccup's Legacy 1.3.0 Changelog

New Features

  • Dragon Eggs and Breeding:

    • Added dragon eggs, allowing players to hatch dragons.
    • Introduced dragon breeding, enabling players to pair dragons and create offsprings.

  • Dragon Variants:

    • Added new variants for existing dragons, adding diversity in appearance.

  • Config File:

    • Implemented a fully functional config file, allowing players to customize gameplay settings to their preference (Only related to the first join stuff atm, will do configs for the dragon spawning and variant ammount so if you want to add variants it will be easier).

Code Improvements

  • Fully Hand-Coded Base:

    • Transitioned entirely away from MCreator, so everything from now on on the mod will be made from scratch with hand-coded features for better flexibility and performance.

  • Improved Classes and Hierarchy:

    • Refactored the egg and dragon systems with an organized class hierarchy, improving code readability and scalability.
