1.1.0
Fixed
Rescues now land in the correct dimension.
The Hearth used to pull you to your bed's coordinates while leaving you in whatever dimension you died in. Die in the Nether with an Overworld bed and you arrived at your bed's X and Z, buried in Nether rock, sometimes on the roof, occasionally in lava. The rescue itself worked perfectly. It just delivered you to the right address in the wrong world. Freaking oops.
It turns out "home" is a dimension-specific concept, which you would hope had occurred to the author of a teleportation mod at some point across three releases.
You no longer wake up inside a block.
The rescue dropped you at the bed's exact position without checking whether anything was above it, so a bed with a floor built over it meant stuck on arrival. Rescues now use the same stand-up resolution as an ordinary respawn: nearest open space beside the bed, stepping up if needed, falling back to world spawn if there is genuinely nowhere to put you.
Rescue state no longer survives a disconnect. Logging out mid-rescue could leave the blackout sequence queued indefinitely and fire it at an unrelated moment later.
Added
Your animals come home with you.
Anything that considers you its owner is brought along: wolves, cats, parrots, horses, donkeys, mules, llamas, camels. So is anything you were holding on a lead, including animals that aren't tameable at all, and the lead stays attached on arrival. Followers get a couple of seconds of damage resistance when they land, because being yanked out of a fight and immediately finished off is a poor reward for loyalty.
Pets that were sitting come too. The Hearth only looks near where you fell, so a pet sitting safely at home is only ever collected when you died at home, where it already was. A pet sitting in a mine because you told it to wait there is a different situation, and it should not be left in the dark.
New config section, Followers:
haulFollowers— master togglefollowerRadius— how far to look, default 16 blocksfollowerLimit— cap per rescue, default 16, so dying in a full pen doesn't relocate the farmhaulSittingPets— default truefollowerGraceTicks— arrival damage resistance, default 40
Also new: useRespawnAngle, controlling whether you wake facing the direction a normal respawn would, or keep facing whatever you were facing when you died.
