Description
HappyLink
HappyLink is a lightweight NeoForge client mod that makes playing Minecraft with friends quick and convenient.
Host a multiplayer room directly from your singleplayer world, or browse and join available rooms through the in-game lobby. No dedicated Minecraft server or manual port forwarding is required.
Features
- In-game multiplayer lobby
- One-click room creation and joining
- Search rooms by name or room code
- Password-protected rooms
- Configurable player limits
- Optional cheats for invited players
- Automatic LAN connection detection
- Direct connection when available
- Relay fallback for remote connections
- Player skin synchronization
- Easy-to-copy room codes
- Automatic room cleanup when the host closes the room
How It Works
1. Open a singleplayer world.
2. Open the pause menu and select **Create Multiplayer Room**.
3. Configure the room name, password, player limit, and cheat permissions.
4. Share the room code with your friends.
5. Your friends can find the room in the HappyLink lobby and join it directly.
HappyLink attempts to use a local or direct connection whenever possible. If a direct connection is unavailable, it automatically falls back to the HappyLink relay server.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.3
- NeoForge 26.3
- HappyLink must be installed by every participating player
- An internet connection is required for the lobby and relay service
Important Notes
- HappyLink is a client-side mod and does not require a dedicated Minecraft server.
- Connection performance through the relay depends on the relay server's bandwidth and latency.
- This project is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
