1.5.3 Changelog

For Minecraft 1.20.1 + Forge 47.x. Worlds from 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 open without problems. The network protocol is unchanged, but the server and the client must still use the same version.

Hamster Robot: Jetpack Grab now works on the King Zombie too

• The King Zombie and the Titan Zombie can now be taken with Jetpack Grab. They used to be refused because they counted as bosses and were too big.
• Big mobs are carried in front of the robot in a bear hug. They don't sink into the ground or clip into the robot.
• On big mobs, the blue flame aims at the head.
• On big mobs, the ground slam makes a wider dust ring and a stronger shake. Damage is unchanged: 10 in total for the 5-second burn and 120 for the ground slam.
• For the King and the Titan, the dropped head is a zombie head.
• A King or Titan held by the robot can't hit anyone.
• If the King Zombie enters its ending scene, the robot lets go of it and lands.
• The Wither, the Ender Dragon, the Warden and other bosses still can't be grabbed.
• Cooldown is now 30 seconds: the jetpackGrabCooldownTicks default is now 600 (was 1200 = 60 s).
  • In existing worlds that still have the old default of 1200, it's changed to 600 automatically, once.
  • A value you changed by hand is kept.

Speaker Hims: the ULT is now the Final Core Blast

• The Speaker's ULT slot is now its sacrifice move, the Final Core Blast: gold ULT frame, slot 11 and the "-" key, in the same place as the Hamster Robot's ULT.
• Jetpack Grab is now Hamster Robot only. It has been removed from the Speaker completely: no slot, no key (Backspace) and no way to trigger it. The jetpack no longer appears on the Speaker either.
• The Speaker's bar now has 12 slots: 11 = Final Core Blast (ULT, "-"), 12 = Spin Laser ("=").
• The Final Core Blast's behaviour, damage, sounds, music and collapse cutscene are completely unchanged.

Speaker Hims Robot: new recipe

• The recipe now has the same shape as the Hamster Robot's, but with a Note Block in the middle instead of an Iron Block:
  • top row: Iron Ingot, Iron Ingot, Iron Ingot
  • middle row: Iron Ingot, Note Block, Iron Ingot
  • bottom row: Iron Ingot, empty, Iron Ingot
• Result: 1 Speaker Hims Robot. A Hamster Robot is no longer needed.
• The Hamster Robot recipe (Iron Block in the middle) is unchanged, and the two recipes don't conflict.
• To unlock it in the recipe book, you only need a Note Block, an Iron Ingot or a Hamster Robot in your inventory.

Final Core Blast: explosion visuals

• The fireball and dome are now clearly bright yellow: a yellow-white core, a yellow body and golden edges.
• The visible dome and shockwave rings now fill the full 16-block damage radius. Before, the visuals covered only about half of the radius.
• Only the visuals changed. Damage, radius and sounds are the same. big_yellow_blast is still only an extra layer on top of the 1.5.1 sounds.

Sounds

• All of 1.5.1's sounds and music are byte-for-byte identical, including the Speaker's farewell sounds and hero_farewell. Verified: 54/54.
