GroundZero's Base Protection introduces a survival-focused base maintenance and protection system inspired by Rust's Tool Cupboard mechanics, redesigned for Minecraft.

Build an Upkeep Storage, claim an area and maintain your base using everyday building materials. The bigger your base becomes, the more resources you'll need to keep it maintained!

🏠 Base Protection

• Protect your buildings against unauthorized block breaking and explosions.

• Adjustable protection radius with permanent upgrades.

• Protection extends from the bottom to the top of the world.

• Prevent hostile mobs from naturally spawning inside maintained bases.

• Prevent players from placing Upkeep Storages too close to other bases.

• Add trusted players who can help manage and build your base.

• PvP and chest raiding remain enabled by default, keeping survival gameplay challenging.

🛠️ Upkeep & Maintenance

Your base requires materials to stay maintained.

• Upkeep costs scale with your base size and protection radius.

• Uses common materials such as wood, planks, cobblestone, stone and bricks.

• Displays exactly how many resources are required for 24 hours.

• Resources are consumed over real-world time, including offline progression.

• Running out of upkeep triggers warnings and eventually gradual base decay.

• Configurable upkeep costs, consumption rates and decay settings.

💰 Radius Upgrades

Expand your protection area through multiple upgrade tiers.

On Forge servers, players can upgrade using materials such as iron, redstone, diamonds and emeralds.

On compatible hybrid servers with Vault economy support, players can choose between paying with money or using materials.

Vault is completely optional.
