PREDATOR GOO
- Added a protective, glowing red eye with its own reusable seed. One eye belongs to each player; it follows across dimensions and survives world reloads. Only Prismatic Goo can destroy it.
- The eye independently explores within about 32 blocks of you, flies around solid terrain, and teleports to a clear nearby spot when stuck, left behind, or urgently needed against an enemy attacking you.
- Its continuous beam requires a clear path from the eye. Walls, glass and closed doors block it; gaps and liquids allow it through. It prioritizes enemies attacking you, then bosses, then the nearest hostile within 64 blocks of you.
- Beam damage stays linked to the combined output of all four Aetherial swarms. It respects invulnerable phases and moves on temporarily when a target refuses damage. Predator kills count as yours for drops and experience.
- Nearby hostiles and mobs already attacking you are drawn toward the invulnerable, unhittable eye within 32 blocks of it. Peaceful mobs are left alone. Some special AI, including Piglins and scripted boss attacks, may not follow it reliably; attacks already in flight can still reach you.
- Eligible dropped items within 64 blocks are collected into your private dimensional vault. Experience goes directly to you with normal pickup and Mending. Full storage leaves excess items on the ground.
- Pickup restrictions, protected death drops, marked player-thrown items and items nearer another player are respected. Minecraft can lose some ownership markings when stacks merge, so keep shared loot away from active collectors.
THE CRIMSON GATEWAY AND DIMENSIONAL VAULT
- Gateway travel waits for movement to finish, then checks the actual landing inside the room with safe footing. Brief arrival protection covers fall, suffocation and void hazards; afterward, you can tunnel out and fall normally. Interrupted travel keeps its return route and seeks a safe endpoint.
- The return doorway leads to the dimension where you built the gateway, including after reloading. Existing Overworld gateways keep their original return route and saved terrain.
- Sneak + right-click with the Predator seed in any dimension outside the vault itself to transform the eye into a permanent crimson gateway: a 3-by-3 opening in a carved frame, with a platform on each side.
- Construction gradually carves ordinary terrain and fluids while respecting protected blocks and containers. Return and sneak + right-click again in any dimension outside the vault itself to dismantle the gateway, restore displaced terrain and recall the eye. Combat, taunting and automatic collection pause while the gateway exists.
- Enter a private pocket chamber with completely black boundary walls, faintly glowing crimson frames, fragmented tears in the floor, walls, ceiling and altar, subtle black distance fog, and a crimson singularity above the central pedestal. The portal and singularity use a rendering path compatible with the inspected Oculus shaders.
- The return doorway is embedded in the chamber wall. Mobs cannot enter or spawn in the chamber. You can tunnel outside and fly around its exterior; the void lies well below the room.
- The chamber permanently remembers its layout. Broken blocks, including the singularity, regenerate after a short delay while loaded. Stored loot persists separately through rebuilding, gateway closure and world reloads. New construction is blocked inside the fixed chamber.
- The singularity opens owner-only storage with 1,080 slots across twenty pages. Sort organizes the entire vault. Deposit and Withdraw each offer All and Similar controls; Similar matches items already present in the destination.
- Transfers use your main inventory and hotbar, leaving armor and offhand untouched. Overflow stays at its source. Put down any cursor-held stack before using the controls.
- Added the crimson frame, dimensional boundary, fractured tear, crimson portal and dimensional singularity to Creative, with visible item icons. Decorative placement does not create a working gateway or grant storage access.
- Added custom 64-by-64 artwork for the frame, portal, dimensional tears and singularity. Other Goo systems respect the gateway and its permanently restored chamber.
GOO SELECTOR AND STARTER ITEMS
- Added a reusable Goo Selector for Grey, Void, Prismatic, Water, Lava, Aetherial, Extraplanar and Terra. Sneak + right-click cycles the selection; ordinary right-click places it. Hearth and Predator retain their own seeds and special controls.
- New worlds receive the selector in the starter ender chest. Each player in an existing world receives a selector and Predator seed once, preserving existing contents and retrying if the chest is full.
AETHERIAL GOO
- Health, hunger and supported mana recovery now start at 75% instead of 25%. Gear repair engages at or below 75% remaining durability. Air support now starts at 25% of the player's maximum air supply, including modded capacities.
- Default pulse damage is one quarter of the previous value: 2.5% of an ordinary target's maximum health, or 1.25% for a boss. Existing worlds retain their saved damage settings.
- A modded target throwing an error after taking damage no longer causes the same pulse to be applied a second time.
EXTRAPLANAR GOO
- Gateways remain open after return trips. Close one by opening a replacement or placing an Extraplanar seed on its frame, base or portal surface. Owners can close their gates; operators can close abandoned ones.
- Corrected arrivals receive a fresh travel cooldown, preventing an immediate bounce back through the portal. Refused placements no longer create an extra seed.
- Destination platforms can use a liquid's surface as support, keeping more of the doorway above the liquid instead of placing it on submerged ground.
HEARTH GOO
- Added a brief settling period and final cleanup before the undo timer starts. The house removes debris and corrects displaced template blocks after initial falling-block and fluid activity, while respecting occupied and protected cells. Later world updates can still make unsupported blocks fall or fluids flow.
- Cleanup resumes after reload and releases its temporary loaded chunks. Unreachable areas are reported rather than silently skipped.
- Corrected finish-message counts and a rare skipped cell when a doorway lies outside the exported block list. Reloaded builds explicitly report that their undo record is unavailable.
- Aetherial swarms and Predator eyes are preserved when passing through construction.
PRISMATIC GOO AND DIAGNOSTICS
- Fixed Prismatic hunters freezing at or above their population ceiling. Existing cells can relocate without increasing the population; the ceiling still prevents new growth.
- Prismatic can discover and destroy Predator eyes as part of its normal cleanup behavior.
- Added a music-overlap log to help identify which mods are playing simultaneous tracks. Normal track replacements are allowed to settle before an overlap is reported.
