What's new

1.0.7 — 2026-10-22

  • Fixed occlusion checks for incendiary flames and damage: solid walls block both. Restored flame density for a fuller visual effect.
  • Fences, fence gates, iron bars, and copper grates allow fire through. Added the grenadier:fire_permeable block tag for other mods.
  • Thermite flames and sparks now check their movement paths against solid walls and ceilings. Server-side droplets use gravity, drag, and swept collision checks to clear low walls and ignite targets they hit, while full cover remains effective.
  • Thermite splash uses near-, mid-, and long-range trajectories, with 36 trajectories per wave and up to 256 active trajectories, improving hits on nearby targets behind low walls. Initial burst damage is unchanged.
  • All three mine types deploy only on top surfaces and reject embedded, side-mounted, or unsupported positions. Mines disarm and fall when support is removed, then rearm after landing.
  • Prevented overlapping mines during placement and falling. Failed manual placement does not consume an item; thrown or falling mines return an item when the landing position overlaps another mine. Invalid mines embedded in blocks in existing saves also return an item.
  • Reduced thermite mine bounce and removed random item scattering after failed deployment.
  • Individually adjusted first- and third-person positioning and tilt for anti-personnel mines, thermite mines, and claymores, with explicit left- and right-hand settings. Models, textures, inventory icons, and ground display are preserved.
  • Validation: 46 automated checks passed. Nine real server GameTests verified deployment, falling, overlap handling, and splash over low walls. Held-item visuals were confirmed in-game; not all third-party entity and moving-structure combinations have been covered.
