Consolidated into Grand Workshop

This collection is now included in the single Grand Workshop Complete download on the Grand Workshop project. Future releases are published there. This separate listing is unlisted and retained only as a legacy record. Do not install its standalone file alongside the Complete edition. Existing block IDs are preserved in Complete; back up worlds before upgrading.

Grand Workshop: Lamplight

32 always-on architectural lights in copper, iron, brass and limestone, using eight custom shapes: courtyard lantern, wall sconce, bollard, ceiling pendant, floor uplight, desk lamp, beacon cage and gallery light.

Build with light

Every lamp emits light level 15 without a redstone signal. Pieces support waterlogging and rotate with empty-hand sneak-use. Each uses original Grand Workshop 16x16 textures with at least 16 visible colors.

Select /workshop shape gw_lighting:<shape> with tab completion, then use the matching material at its worktable. Carry one glowstone dust per lamp in your inventory. /workshop batch 16 supports bulk crafting and /workshop browse opens the searchable catalog.

Install independently

Requires Grand Workshop 0.3.0 or newer, Fabric API, Fabric Loader 0.19.5+, Minecraft Java 26.3 and Java 25+. The current tested combined pack uses core 0.6.0-dev.2. Install matching files on client and server. No other Workshop expansion is required. Lamplight provides constant lighting; Signalworks is the separate optional expansion for redstone-controlled fixtures. Retain this expansion in worlds containing its lamps.

The development build passed standalone and combined-pack checks, including lighting costs, recycling, waterlogging, rotation and loot. Original artwork includes ImageGen-derived textures exported to exactly 16x16. Gameplay images are actual Minecraft captures; the project logo is a branding illustration.
