Golden Snowball

Your happy ghast is slow? Give it a golden treat.

Happy ghasts are lovely, but they take their time. A Golden Snowball gives your ghast a sugar rush: it flies 1.75× faster for 60 seconds.

Features

• New item: Golden Snowball, a snowball wrapped in gold nuggets
• Right-click a happy ghast with it: 1.75× flying speed for 60 seconds
• Stacks up to 3 minutes: each extra snowball adds another minute, and when the ghast is full the snowball isn't used up
• Timer for the rider: the remaining boost time is shown above the hotbar and turns red in the last 10 seconds
• Golden sparkles around the ghast while the boost is active, plus hearts and a chime when you feed it
• Survives restarts: the remaining boost time is saved with the ghast
• Regular snowballs still work as in vanilla

Why 1.75×?

It's a clear speed boost you can feel, but still slow enough for the world to load in time, so there are no holes in the terrain and no extra server lag.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader, Fabric API
• Install it on both the server and every client, because it adds an item.
