Giacomo's Map Merging

This mod adds a new recipe: Map Merging.

On the crafting table put two or more maps that cover the same area of the world (same center, scale and dimension) with an empty map and get a single map containing all the data of input maps.

If you delight with minecraft maps you can no longer do without this mod!

How many times you happen to go exploring new areas and notice to have left home the necessary maps?

And create duplicates that can not be used together?

Now you can combine two or more maps that cover the same portion of the world in a single map containing all the data!
