InfNexus Addon for Fungal Infection: Spore

Overview:

This addon introduces the Nexus of Infection — an invulnerable central point that slowly spreads corruption across the world in an expanding radius. Your goal: contain the outbreak, weaken the Nexus, and ultimately destroy it before it consumes everything.

Features:

The Nexus: A growing, central threat that actively spreads infection across the terrain.

Weakening Mechanics: Defeat parasitic Spore mobs or freeze them using CDU units to reduce the Nexus's strength.

Destruction Protocol: Gather 4 CDU units and activate them near the Nexus. This disables its defenses, allowing you to destroy it and halt the infection.

Full Customization: Includes a detailed config file. Adjust maximum Nexus strength, spread radius, CDU behavior, and difficulty scaling.

Commands:

/infnexus summon Summon the Nexus at your current location.
/infnexus summon <x> <y> <z> Summon at specific coordinates (Y automatically adjusted to surface level).
/infnexus remove Remove the Nexus and all associated child mounds from the world.
/infnexus reset Full reset: clears Nexus, mounds, strength, and infection front.
/infnexus status Display current status: strength, front radius, active mounds, nearby CDU count.
/infnexus bossbar on|off Toggle the strength bossbar (disabled by default).
/infnexus power set|add <number> [Debug] Manually set or adjust Nexus strength.

🔧 Work in Progress: This mod is in a very early stage of development and is currently undergoing a major refactor to implement a more detailed and balanced system.

Nexus summoning is command-only for now. Automatic/natural spawning is not yet implemented. Features, mechanics, and balancing are subject to significant changes in future updates. Recommended for testing and feedback. Always backup your worlds before updating!
