A set of Norse god themed boss fights for FTB's Architect's Exodus modpack. Each boss has multiple phases, its own arena mechanics, signature attacks, and an intro cinematic + music.

The Bosses

Hel — ranged void sorceress; soul fireballs, sculk tentacles, meteor storms, teleports constantly, summons clones on phase changes
Ymir — frost giant; heavy melee, ice stomps, chain grabs, gets frost armor that reflects projectiles, enrages at low health
Surtr — fire giant; fire dashes, volcanic eruptions, reflects projectiles when "Inferno Armor" is up, weak to cold/ice
Jormungandr — aquatic serpent; needs a flooded arena, submerges to avoid damage, multi-segment hitbox, poison/wither breath
Skoll & Hati — twin wolves sharing one health pool; one attacks while the other heals/supports, focus fire to stop the healing
Nidhogg — flying dragon, the toughest fight; fire/void breath, death mark debuff, summons mini dragons, big telegraphed ultimate attack

For Pack Makers: KubeJS & Forge Events

FTB Ragnarok fires custom Forge events you can hook from KubeJS or another mod, covering boss spawns, phase transitions, deaths, enrage, and per boss ability triggers such as Ymir's stomp, Nidhogg's fire breath and shadow clones, and Hel's clone spawns. All events are nested classes under dev.ftb.mods.ftbragnarok.event.RagnarokBossEvent and provide getBoss() and getLevel().

These bosses are intended to have a 32 radius arena where they are fought in that is mostly clear of obstructions. You'll need to provde this if you use it in your pack, you can see how we've implemented it in FTB Architect's Exodus.

A quick example, placed in kubejs/server_scripts/:
