⚠️ Beta. Fluxion is still in active development: expect rough edges, balance changes and the occasional bug. Ideas and bug reports are very welcome.
Everything in the world is a stilled current. Read the flux in stone, root and flesh, distill it, and shape it into spells, devices and journeys to other worlds.

Read the World

In Fluxion everything is a current that slowed down: stone flows over eons, a furnace is Ember, a river is Tide. The Loupe reads the currents of any block, item, creature or the open sky, and every first reading brings notes to your own Codex of Currents — a hand-drawn canvas of entries, the Wheel of 42 currents, recipes and ghost blueprints you can build from.

Alchemy

The Crucible dissolves anything into liquid distillate and brews new things from it — heat, catalysts, clashes of opposite currents and murk to deal with. Vessels and siphons carry distillate; the Retort, mixing vat, brewing tower and separator take it further, all the way to potions the game never had.

Spells of Your Own

Cast through the Conduit, a gauntlet fitted with lenses ground at the Lens Grinder — or draw your own spell on the Pantograph as a tracery of springs, channels and mouths and cut it into a lens. The Confluence altar pours currents into an item: weavings, inscriptions and the game's own enchantments by a new route. Keep it steady, or it tears.

Skeins of Living Light

Skeins float in the world as balls of wound current. Tap them, feed them, carry them on a Spindle — and open a dense one with an Embroidery Hoop to step inside: the Bower, your own workshop world inside a skein, that travels with it.

Four Strange Worlds

The Quickstream, where rivers of flux run through the sky between floating islands. The Stillness, the world of the Great Halt, where nothing flows: glass waterfalls, people frozen mid-step, sparks hanging in the air. The Lees, where murk settles, and the Meanders, the looping labyrinth of the Reckoners.

Biomes with a Mood

Sanguine Weald, Honeyfall Grove, Inkpine Forest, Smolderwood, Rustling Fens, Hourless Wood and the Stagnant Backwater — each with its own light, sound, creatures and places. The Biome Converter grows a biome around it, including three that grow nowhere else: Threadwood, Halo Meadow and the Simmering Dell.

Cults and Their Champions

Three cults, their camps, raids and guardians; bosses with phases of their own; and a finale that changes your world for good — once. Every shortcut has a price: flux taken roughly settles as murk, and murk becomes mire, a living rot that creeps over the land.

Also inside
- The Flux Workbench crafts with the flux of your chunk; dozens of devices run on it: lanterns, chargers, lifts, the Memory Obelisk for experience, through-mirrors that link two places, totems that lay a law on an area (no creeper blasts, no fire spread, no fall damage…), circles drawn in ink on carved stone.
- Automatons with sigil orders do the routine work.
- Seven aptitudes (Intellect, Might, Acuity and others) grow from what you study and whom you defeat; the Reckoning Desk puzzle opens the hardest entries of the Codex.
- Gear with real character — the Freshet Garb that flies, waders that walk on still water, stillmetal plate that nothing can stop — weapons with abilities, trinkets, and armor trims of the mod's own.

Made to be played together
- Built for dedicated servers and multiplayer: all rules live on the server, each player has their own knowledge and progress, and the mod is measured to stay light for the server.
- Mod Graphics — low, medium or high — is chosen the first time you open the Codex and can be changed any time. Works with Sodium (or Embeddium) and Iris shader packs.
- Recipe viewers (JEI, REI, EMI), Jade and WTHIT, Mod Menu, trinket slots from Trinkets, Curios or Accessories, plus content branches for Applied Energistics 2 (NeoForge), Farmer's Delight, Occultism and — on 1.21.1 — Create (NeoForge). Terralith works without being required.

Minecraft 26.3 (Java 25) or 1.21.1 (Java 21), Fabric (Fabric API) or NeoForge, plus GeckoLib and TerraBlender — four files, one for each game version and loader. Install on both client and server. Details — see Installation.
Bugs and ideas: issue tracker (put [Fluxion] in the title).

It is a spiritual successor to Thaumcraft and its add-ons — with its own lore, names and mechanics. Thanks to the authors of GeckoLib and TerraBlender, whose libraries the mod stands on.
