First Aid - THD Compatibility

Unofficial First Aid compatibility fork for The Hundredth Dawn. First Aid was created by ichttt and its contributors. This project is not an official First Aid release and does not imply endorsement by its authors.

The existing THD modification suppresses the hard-coded first-connection tutorial chat while retaining tutorial completion tracking. Only MessageConfiguration$Handler.class differs from the official JAR. No item healing, health, inventory, or other First Aid logic is changed by this fork. Do not install alongside the original First Aid; both use the same mod ID.

Licensing: First Aid is GPL version 3 or later; its API has LGPLv2.1 terms. Original notices, copyright and the heartbeat audio CC Attribution 3.0 credit are retained in the source materials. Unrelated THD components are not included in this source distribution.

The archive root contains the complete upstream source/build tree with the Java change applied. thd-reproduction/ contains the exact patch script and reproduction materials. Original licenses and notices are included. This is a source archive, not an installable mod. Full Gradle rebuild has not been verified; the patch script reproduces the exact modified class. Unrelated THD proprietary sources are not included.

The uploaded binary preserves the modification already shipped in THD 2.1.8; no later gameplay fixes are included.
