What's new

  • Paint armor: armor, elytras, wolf and horse armor, llama carpets and saddles can now be painted, and they cover the mob's body, so the brush paints the armor where it is worn and the skin only where it shows. Works with modded armor drawn like vanilla armor, GeckoLib armor on 1.21.1 and Epic Fight.

  • Something a mob wears that can't be painted (a pumpkin on its head, for example) still has to come off before its body can be painted.

  • New server settings: armor.paintArmor turns armor painting off (the old "take it off first" rule), and armor.excludedItems lists armor that can't be painted.

  • Plays with 0.9.8 to 0.9.10 servers and clients.

  • Minecraft 1.21.11: mobs that Entity Model Features gives a custom model can now be painted, as on 1.21.1. A part of such a model that a resource pack gives its own texture shows no paint on 1.21.11 yet.

  • Plays with 0.9.9 servers and clients.
