Fences placed on a bottom slab sit on the slab, and fences half a block apart join with a sloped bar. Works with every fence, vanilla or modded.

- Fences placed on a bottom slab sit on the slab (half a block lower); stacked fences keep the offset.
- Sloped bars between fences whose rails are half a block apart.
- Stepped outline and collision for sloped bars.
- On Forge 26.2 a fence with an upward sloped bar is lit without smooth lighting.
