📖 About 📖
This mod adds 3 simple new movement mechanics that make moving around feel much smoother & faster. All mechanics use vanilla keybinds, keeping your keybinds clutter-free and intuitive.
Sliding
- Activated by sneaking while running.
- Sliding slightly boosts your existing momentum forward and gradually slows you down. Keep holding sneak after the slide to transition into crawling.
- Jumping out of a slide also carries some momentum into the jump.
Wall Running
- Hold jump while airborne next to a wall with enough momentum to begin wall-running.
- You can jump away from the wall to carry that momentum forward and chain wall-runs together.
Dive Rolling
- Sneak while airborne to perform a dive roll.
- Landing during a well-timed roll can reduce fall damage while also letting you carry momentum into your next movement. Rolls can transition naturally back into sprinting, jumping or sliding.

Enhanced Features:
- Compared with the original FastMove, this version also includes configurable movement balancing, improved wall-running, near-ground slide input buffering, configurable roll protection, optional first-person camera effects, dedicated keybinds, sliding audio, an expanded in-game config menu, multiplayer config syncing and additional movement validation.
- There’s also an optional original-style movement mode if you prefer the faster momentum chaining of the original FastMove, with a slider to control its strength.

Configuration:
- The mod includes an extensive range of configurable settings, all of which can also be adjusted in-game.
- Gameplay configuration includes settings for sliding, dive rolling, wall-running, momentum, fall protection, cooldowns, hunger costs, movement speeds and more.
- Client-only settings are also available for visual and audio preferences, including wall-run camera tilt, sliding camera tilt, the optional full first-person dive-roll animation and sliding sound volume.
- Original Slide / Dive Momentum [Default: Disabled] can be enabled from the config to restore the old momentum behaviour. You can also independently scale its strength from 0–200%. For example, around 40% keeps much of the original movement feel without allowing speed to build quite as aggressively.
