Type /farout in chat to start / stop a game and see the game settings. New feature not in this screenshot: /farout menu for all settings in a nice menu.
After starting the game, you'll be lifted in the air and frozen there for 30 seconds (configurable in /farout menu) so you can have a look around and see which direction you want to walk 10k blocks in.
Not really a portal, but a magenta carpet but hey: walk over it and the game starts!

Craft and consume this shield and nothing will hurt you EXCEPT fall damage for 30 seconds.
Craft and consume this recipe to get Speed III for 30 seconds. Only can be crafted within 1 minute after waking up from a bed.
Craft and consume any boots to gain Jump Boost X with no fall damage for 30 seconds. This is a great way to hop over mountains.
Craft and consume this power-up to get a max Haste pickaxe that mines 3x3 around the block you've mined. Perfect for drilling through mountains and caves.
See those sparkles on the side? That's your path, you're not allowed to leave the path during the run.
Made it to 10k? The Mod will tell you, audibly and visually. Also your splits and PBs are saved automatically.
