Changelog
1.0.0 - First stable version
Added
- Vein mining. Hold the vein-mining key (Alt by default, rebindable in Controls) while breaking an ore with the iridium drill and the whole vein comes down at once. The iridium chainsaw does the same with trees. Drops and XP go straight to your inventory. Up to 64 blocks per vein, extra blocks cost 3x energy, both configurable, and the feature can be turned off in the mod config.
- Transformer losses. Stepping voltage up now burns part of the energy: 25% from Low to Medium, 30% from Medium to High and 40% from High to Very High. Stepping down costs much less: 5%, 8%, 12% and 15% from Ultra. Build generators of the tier you need instead of chaining transformers. Percentages are configurable.
- New transformer screen with three displays: input, loss and output, with the voltage name and rate on each.
- Working animations for drills and chainsaws: the drill tip spins and the chainsaw teeth move while you mine, the tool stays pointed at the block instead of swinging.
- Recipe pipe arrow opens JEI/REI even before any recipe is set, like the craft pipe.
Changed
- Electric tools were re-calibrated against vanilla: the iron drill mines like an iron pickaxe, the diamond drill 5% faster than a diamond pickaxe and the iridium drill 20% faster than netherite. Chainsaws follow the same ladder against axes. Efficiency scales with the tool tier.
- Drills and chainsaws can be enchanted at the enchanting table and anvil. The chainsaw also takes sword enchantments.
- The request table receives its item list together with the screen, so the list no longer blinks in a moment after opening.
- The geological scanner and prospector maps render much faster.
- Wiki: the beta notice is gone, the mod is described as a successor to the classic tech mods, and the transformer and gear pages document the new features.
Fixed
- Shift-clicking the result of the request table now crafts as many as possible, like a crafting table.
- The F9 slot id overlay no longer draws over tooltips.
