Faceless Watcher

Faceless Watcher is an original, endless horror mod built around a single relentless creature: a tall, faceless, light-eating presence that watches you and hunts you through dozens of ever-changing events. It cannot be killed. It can only be delayed. And the longer you survive, the deadlier it becomes.

There is no boss bar and no "win". This is single-entity survival horror: you last as long as you can, and every trick you use to escape, it learns.

What it adds

• The Faceless Watcher – a custom entity with its own model, animations and behaviour that stalks one player at a time and is never truly gone.
• An events system – dozens of small "wrong" moments build dread before it ever appears: sounds where there shouldn't be, things moved, the feeling of being followed, escalating until it physically comes for you.
• It adapts – the ways you survive stop working. Hide in the same spot twice and it changes tactics.
• Escalating danger – it ramps across a run: unsettling to cruel to lethal.
• Jumpscares used sparingly, for the moments that matter.

Why download it

If you want a horror mod about dread and tension rather than another zombie reskin, this is it. It makes an ordinary survival world feel unsafe, perfect for solo play, hardcore worlds, or a horror series with friends. Cheap; perfect for horror modpacks as a side-mob mod.

Compatibility

Runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, Minecraft 1.20.1 through 26.2 (42 builds). Fully configurable.
