0.4.0 — The Painting Update

Paint brushes. /plot brush hands you a configurable brush that paints strokes of blocks wherever you aim, up to 30 blocks away. Settings live on the brush itself — every brush you carry is its own preset (rename them at an anvil; renaming can't break them). Sneak + right-click opens its settings screen.

Eleven brush types. Splatter (organic blotches — the path maker), Round, Overlay (repaints the terrain's exposed top layer), Spray, Wall (textures vertical faces), Gradient (your palette in order — rings on the ground, bottom-to-top bands on walls, dithered edges), Blend (re-mixes what's already there until seams disappear), Raise / Lower / Smooth (terraforming), and Erase (restores the plot floor — custom floors included — and refills holes).

Brush dials: size, density, fade, Surface vs Ball mode, a "paint over only X" mask, and a 9-slot weighted palette (duplicates = more common).

Placement that respects shape. Half-blocks (slabs, carpets, trapdoors…) rest on top of the ground while full blocks replace it — decided by real collision shape, so modded blocks work too. Buttons and levers lie flat. Splatter/spray never stack upward. Wall only paints genuinely exposed faces.

Particle previews. A radius ring shows where your brush will land; the editor wand shows a green outline around your selection.

Aim where you look. Shapes build centered on the block you're aiming at (gold marker still takes priority) — no more sealing yourself inside your own sphere — and /plot paste lands at your aim point.

Measuring: up to 4 tapes at once, and /plot measure opens the measuring tools directly.

More: undo history deepened to 10 (each brush stroke = one undo entry), mob-escape-action config (teleport escaped plot mobs home, or despawn them), merged-plot floor changes now cover the dissolved road strips, and the internals were reorganized with a version-compatibility layer — groundwork for supporting more Minecraft versions.

Everything is plot-jailed and undoable, and works for Java + Bedrock (Geyser) with zero client mods — as always.
