This is a mini-mod adding some trades to the existing villagers. Basically, most of the things that were only either buyable or sellable, can now both be bought and sold. And additionally you can now buy some useful items which you could not buy before.

Why doesn't somone create a precious metal trade system? All this mining for 1-3 emeralds is a waste of time. You spend all your time looking for emeralds to trade for stuff you could make on your own....doesn't even make sense.

Who in their right mind would still mine for emeralds in 1.14.4 and beyond? There's no point to it. Just get a few fletchers and sell them a ton of sticks and you never have to worry about running out of emeralds ever again.

Hey, I'd love to add extra trades to my modpack, but the modpack is on version 1.16.5 and the latest file of this mod is marked as 1.16.4, which means I can't add it to my modpack - however I've checked, and the mod is still fully functional on 1.16.5. can you please give the latest file a 1.16.5 tag so I (as well as other modpack creators) can add it?

Done. I didnt know this was a requirement for modpacks.
can you check the 1.16.5 checkbox for the latest 1.16.4 file (if compatible) so that it appears while browsing for mods in 1.16.5 profiles in the curse app.
Does this mod allow you to change the quantity of items in exchange for emeralds?
Is possible add charcoal and beetroot in trades?
So... Does this mod generalize all the trades of the villagers? Like do all blacksmiths sell all the same stuff now?

No. The selected trades are still random. Nothing changed there. But those trades can now also be any of the ones mentioned here. Eg. An Apprentice Farmer might now sell Eggs, which it never can without this mod.
