Extra Forgiving Void

Extra Forgiving Void（特别仁慈的虚空） A void protection mod independently implemented from scratch, inspired by the concept of Forgiving Void. No source code was forked, borrowed or taken from the original Forgiving Void project.

This mod keeps you from instantly dying when you fall into the void. Compared to the original Forgiving Void, it provides richer, more flexible rescue behaviors tailored for modpack makers.

Features

• Prevent void death for players, customizable void trigger depth
• Multiple rescue modes: teleport back to last safe position / slow floating / spawn temporary safety platform
• Individual toggle for Overworld, Nether, End and custom dimensions
• Configurable void damage, rescue cooldown, particle and sound effects
• Good compatibility with most teleport, dimension and inventory mods
• No hardcoded UUID kick logic, no hidden malicious code, fully transparent

Configuration All functions can be toggled and tweaked in the config file. You can enable/disable each rescue mode, set dimension whitelist / blacklist, adjust the void depth threshold.

• This mod is an independent implementation, NOT a fork of Forgiving Void.
• It is only inspired by the idea of void protection, and shares no source code with the original.
• Do not report bugs of this mod to the original Forgiving Void repository.
• If you only want a lightweight simple void protection, check out the original Forgiving Void.

Compatibility

• Supports Forge / NeoForge (select according to your target loader)
• May conflict with mods that heavily modify void logic or fall damage
• Please open an issue if you run into compatibility problems
