me gusta mucho este mod y me gustaria saber si piensan sacar la version de 1.19.2 ?
In reply to nek0der: - Bottle Your Xp (Forge) ?
I love this mod and I was wondering if it is going to be updated to 1.19 versions of MC.
In reply to breezymantoo:
maybe try Bottle Your Xp (Forge)
Why when ever i try to open the xp bottle machine my game crashes
In reply to jayzblob:
Could you give me the crash message?
In reply to wekabu_city:
I have the same issue except that for me it just hangs so no crash message is given.
To recreate the situation you have to:
1. You have to give yourself the max amount of XP Levels ( /xp add @p 999999999 levels )
2. Then try opening the machine and putting a bottle in.
Hopefully, this should produce the same outcome as mine. If not then my next guess is that another mod isn't playing nice with your mod.
In reply to reegani:
Are you using any shaders or performance improving mods? If so, which are those.
Edit: Ah, I've been able to reproduce it however it happens only if you have obscenely large quantities of XP. Considering that I'll won't fix the bug right now but I'll keep it in the back of the mind when I'll release.
The source of the bug is at https://github.com/Geolykt/ExpBottling/blob/master/src/main/java/net/eidee/minecraft/exp_bottling/util/ExpUtil.java#L42 for future reference
There seems to be a bug with the 1.18.1-0 version in which the machine does not actually remove the exp from the player, but instead gives an infinite amount of exp bottles of the input amount. It also gives back the original empty bottle. With that said, I am very fond of this mod and, am overjoyed to have it back as I didn't expect any more updates.
Hoping you are well.
In reply to ztkwarrenpeace:
You mean the 1.18.2 version? If so that is strange as I did no changes to any code (except the config files) in the 1.18.2 update.... And even with 1.18.1-0 there are no changes to the codebase that would explain this abnormal behaviour.
I'll have a look at it soon anyways.
To be honest I did not expect me to update the mod so soon either as usually I just shift these tasks to "later" but I had to decompile minecraft anyways so I updated the mod along it
In reply to wekabu_city:
No, it's 1.18.1, but never mind the issue was on my end. I'm an idiot, it never occurred to me that because I test all my new mods in a creative world before uploading them to my server that of course it wouldn't be taking the exp... My bad, sorry to bother you.
"will be discontinued as of Minecraft 1.17.1" then you should let someone else take over the coding for the mod so they can come out with it for 1.18
In reply to thertggaming:
I could try to give this a go, but I can't promise too much since I also have other things to do

I miss this mod :(
1.16.4 please <3 great mod and would love to continue using this in my modpack and im updating my modpack to 1.16.4 with friends and cant continue our world until the modpack is updated
In reply to enyo_lunatek:
yes that would be great!
In reply to FullMetalMaster1:
You could compile it manually over at https://github.com/Geolykt/ExpBottling/tree/1.16.4, although technically the existing jar should already work (I had to change no code at least - a simple version bump and recompile was all it took), but don't take my word for it
In reply to wekabu_city:
huh okay
In reply to wekabu_city:
huh okay idk how to do that but ill try the current version
