Exnergy's The Sift 1.4.1: The Terraces Update

Changes since 1.4.0: terraced red hills straight out of Dungeons II, a redesigned teal Ravines, a smaller and better balanced Singer's Meadow, a bigger Singer, a rarer Singer's Portal, more and better spaced Sifter spires, grass and trees that finally grow on the shaped ground, red paths and red and pink grass in the Wild Meadows, biome names on the action bar, and a long list of fixes.
⛰️ Terraced Hills
Lullaby Hills now have the stepped red plateaus of Dungeons II: tall cliffs, flat terraces, winding ramps between the levels and round sinkholes
You can climb them: where a cliff drops two blocks or more, some stretches get a two-block-wide staircase that goes down one block at a time to the terrace below. The cliffs stay, and you can still walk up
Thin, winding trails of green grass run across the hills. The staircases are green too
Rims of the terraces are edged with green grass
Sinkholes are shallow (four to five blocks) and small, and the terraces vary in height, so there are no huge flat plains
Red grass and White Willows grow on the terraces. Plants and trees now stand on the real ground instead of being buried under it
🌊 The Ravines
The Ravines now look like the Dungeons II ravine: teal Tidestone walls, stepped terraces and horizontal bands of red stone and polished Tidestone running along the cliffs
The floor is teal Tidestone with polished paths, patches of green moss, pale lavender patches and small glowing Ichor patches
Glowing yellow blooms and pale blue blooms grow on the floor, with only a few plants so the ground stays open
The sky and fog are a deeper blue-teal
The pillars have a teal body and a red top: the last three layers and the cap are red stone, with rose vines hanging down
The Ravines cover about half the area they used to, and the freed ground goes to the Carapace
🎶 Singer's Meadow and the Singer
Singer's Meadow is much smaller: a compact core instead of an endless red plain. The ground around it now belongs to the Wild Meadows, the Humbler Huskland and the Lullaby Hills
Grass and White Willows now grow on its red ground, and the terraced cliffs have green-grass edges
The Singer is 50% bigger
The Singer's Portal is much rarer. It now stands on a flat platform of orange soil with a stepped ramp, and the Singer's Portal and the Empress Garden can also appear in the Lullaby Hills, so they stay findable
Arriving in the Sift and teleporting now find the real ground, not the raw terrain below it
🌿 Wild Meadows
A bit smaller, with softer edges
About 15% of the ground is now red and pink sculk grass, in patches among the green
Thin winding red paths cross the meadows, made of dark red stone, orange soil and blush sand, so they stay visible between the grass
Short and tall grass still covers the green ground, with a few red and pink plants mixed in. Plants also grow on the red and pink patches
Ichor pools now form in the Wild Meadows too
🏜️ Humbler Huskland and Other Biomes
The Humbler Huskland reaches further into the middle of the world, and its edges are softer
The Wild Sporefields are smaller, so the turquoise mushroom forest no longer takes over big areas
Biome sizes are balanced across the Sift: the Wild Meadows, the Ravines, the Wild Sporefields and the Lullaby Hills are smaller, the Carapace, the Sifter Canyon, the Choral Glen and the small Singer's Meadow core are a little larger
The Lullaby Hills mountains cover a wider band, and the Willow Highlands start further along the temperature range
🏛️ Spires
Sifter spires are twice as common
The spires of one group now stand 11 to 14 blocks apart instead of crowding together, with room to walk between them
In the Ravines they have teal bodies and red tops
🧭 Action Bar
The action bar now shows the name of your biome next to your Souls and the Soul Storm timer, with a color for each biome family: red for the red-ground biomes, green for the meadows and highlands, yellow for the desert and canyon, teal for the Ravines, Carapace and Ichor Ponds, blue for the Sporefields and the frozen peaks, and purple for the caves
🛠️ Bug Fixes
Structures no longer float above the little Ichor pools. Pools and chasms now keep away from built blocks, and no longer replace the floors of buildings
Creatures that get stuck inside blocks are moved to the nearest free space instead of suffocating
Every creature that comes with a structure (villagers, guards, bosses, the Singer, Echo Golems, Glooplings) is placed in free space, so none spawn inside blocks. The Singer's Portal checks this for its creatures too
Sifter Ruins, Ruined Sift Portals and Illager Soul Excavations no longer form in the Ichor Ponds, where the big ponds used to cut their foundations away
Titan bones and Hollow Humbler Husks no longer form on top of built structures
Fixed trees that grew half-buried in the terraces, and fixed grass and plants that ended up inside the stone and never showed up. Terraced ground now gets its grass and trees on the real surface
Fixed the Singer's Meadow and Huskland mesas filling stone around tree trunks that had already grown
🌍 Still in the Sift
The vanilla Sniffer and Allay are part of the Sift
Floating islands appear in many biomes
The three auroras drift across the sky both day and night
