EventTrace 1.0.0 - Minecraft 1.21 - Forge

Release build for Minecraft 1.21 / Forge. Tested loader: 51.0.33. Java 21. Optional on client and dedicated server; each side traces independently.

Installation

Install only eventtrace-1.0.0+mc1.21-forge.jar in the matching instance's mods folder.

Also add this startup JVM argument (not a chat command), pointing to the same JAR:

-javaagent:mods/eventtrace-1.0.0+mc1.21-forge.jar

Use an absolute path if the launcher starts outside the game directory. Without the startup agent, tracing is disabled.

Changes and verification

• Added this exact version/loader port with the shared tracing core and native GUI.
• Packaged client and dedicated-server tracing checks passed.
• Tracing is off by default; no telemetry or automatic uploads.

Coverage and limitations

Dispatcher coverage: FULL_DISPATCH. This is not tracing of arbitrary mod behavior. The GUI browses local-client traces. Remote server trace GUI and optional script-line integrations are not implemented. Capture is bounded and Unknown ownership is intentional when evidence is insufficient. Disabled capture is not allocation-free. Game validation ran on macOS; no native Windows/Linux or exhaustive modpack gameplay test is claimed.
