Enhanced Attack Indicator is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.16.x that shows the attack indicator progress on more actions.
(Please don't ask for a Forge port)
Added Actions:
- Breaking blocks
- Bows, crossbow, trident drawing
- Eating foods and drinking potions
- Items with a cooldown (shields, chorus fruit, enderpearls).
Other Features:
- Ability to enable/disable the above individually
- Ability to change the priority of the normal weapon cooldown
- Ability to disable pickaxe and shovel weapon cooldowns

Mod weapons don’t show the attack indicator. Is this an error on my end or an issue?
In reply to Kr4ckle:
Depends, do they show without this mod? If so, can you link me the mod
In reply to Minenash:
With or without this mod, melee weapons show their attack indicator. Meanwhile, only the vanilla (Bow and Crossbow) ranged weapons show the attack indicator— no matter if it is charging or ready to fire. Here are the mods:
- MC Dungeon Weapons
- MedievalWeapons
In reply to Kr4ckle:
oh, you meant those kinds of weapons, yeah. Bow/Crossbow are hard-coded (because of the different ways to get the progress). I'd have to add support for those weapons. Theoretically I could make it so they could support by making an api, but I'd have to do work either way, and I don't think the amount of mods that add non-melee weapons is enough to ask them to also do extra work.
