This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Overview

This is a rewrite of the old EndReset for Bukkit and as such a server-only mod that doesn't need to be installed client-side (while single player should work, too, it hasn't been tested for now).

This mod resets the End after the dragon has been killed and all Players left the dimension. Resetting means that all NBT data as well as the region files on disk get deleted, so the world gets completely recreated as soon as it gets loaded again.

Command

To add a world for automatic reset execute:
/endreset add ID
Where ID is the ID of the dimension, so for example:
/endreset add 1

To remove a world from the automatic reset list execute:
/endreset remove ID
Where ID is the ID of the dimension, so for example:
/endreset remove 1

To manually reset a world (warning: This works for all worlds, not just the End) execute:
/endreset reset ID
Where ID is the ID of the dimension, so for example:
/endreset reset 1

To schedule a world for repeated resetting (warning: This works for all worlds, not just the End) execute:
/endreset scheduler add ID seconds
Where ID is the ID of the dimension and seconds is the time in seconds, so for example:
/endreset scheduler add 1 300

To remove a world from the scheduler execute:
/endreset scheduler remove ID
Where ID is the ID of the dimension, so for example:
/endreset scheduler remove 1

To reload the configuration file do:
/endreset reload

Pro tipp for all commands: If you're a player on the server it's allowed to omit the dimension ID; it will take the dimension you're currently playing in then.

Permission

The permission "de.v10lator.endreset.command.addRemove" (defaulting to OP and CLI) is needed to execute the /endreset add and /endreset remove commands.

To be allowed to execute the /endreset reset command you'll need the "de.v10lator.endreset.command.reset" permission which also defaults to OP and CLI.

For the /endreset scheduler commands you need "de.v10lator.endreset.command.scheduler" which defaults to OP and CLI, too.

For the /endreset reload command you need "de.v10lator.endreset.command.reload" which defaults to OP and CLI, too.

FAQ

Question: This gives errors and crashes with Simple Dimensions!
Answer:: This is Simple Dimensions fault ( https://github.com/lumien231/Simple-Dimensions/issues/17 ) but don't worry, there's a fixed version available at https://github.com/lumien231/Simple-Dimensions/pull/13
