- Drowned spawning was lagging the game to the point of unplayability:

A few blocks in the mod (radon and encased radon) prevent hostile mob spawning, basically the mod checks every time a new mob spawns if there's a radon or encased radon block close enough to prevent spawning. This was never a problem in the end because of the way that mobs spawn, nor was it a problem on the land in the overworld or in the nether. As it turns out, drowned and particularly ocean ruins were causing big problems since they are hostile mobs, spawned with the structure all at once in just a pretty small area chunks calling this pretty processing intensive procedure as all 20 drowned check all of the blocks in a 12 by 12 cube around them.

 

For now I've disabled the feature until I get it working again.
