Ender Zoo
Last Updated: Sep 25, 2017 Game Version: 1.12.2
The Mobs of Ender Zoo
Enderminy
Enderminies spawn in forested or swampy areas in small groups . They are friendly little guys with a particular dislike for creepers. Despite their diminutive stature they pack a nasty punch if provoked. They will defend their near by brethren and have a chance to teleport away when hit. On death they will drop Ender Pearls and/or Ender Fragments. Ender fragments can be combined to create an ender pearl or used in the creation of the charges.
Fallen Knight
Fallen Knights have returned to re contest long lost battles. The can be found armed with either swords or bows, though have been known to prefer the sword when engaged in close range fights. Generally found in the open plains on the site of a past battles they will often be mounted on their undead steeds.
Fallen Steed
These fearsome mounts are only found when being ridden by a Fallen Knight. A mounted knight is a foe to be feared as it is charges at great speed towards its foes. A mounted archer presents a different challenge, retreating when ever possible to stay out of melee range while raining arrows on its target.
Concussion Creeper
The Concussion Creeper makes no holes and kills no foes, but beware the headache.. They can drop gunpowder, confusing powder or ender fragments.
Wither Witch
The Wither Witch has discovered the secrets of the Wither, gaining the knowledge required to brew the most evil of potions. While their methods are unknown, slaying one of these evil creatures may gain the victor the means to create the potions for themselves.
Wither Witch's Cat
Companions of Wither Witches these cute little guys tend to get a little angry and aggressive if you pick a fight with their owner.
Dire Wolf
Dire Wolves are found in small packs in snow covered forests. The will tend to ignore visitors to their realm, but do not venture too close to these powerful beasts.
Owl
Owls are found in warmer forests and along rivers. They particularly enjoy eating spiders and watching the world from a high vantage point. Their eggs can be used to brew Potions of Rising.
Enchantments and Potions
Ender Zoo adds the Withering (applied to bows), and Decay (applied to swords) enchantments enchantments. When a target is hit with these weapons they receive the withering effect for five seconds.
With Ender Zoo installed it is also possible to make
- Potions Of Decay using the Withering Powder dropped by Wither Witches.
- Potions of Nausea can be made using Confusing Powder, dropped by Concussion Creepers.
- Potions of Rising using owl eggs
Blocks and Items
Ender Zoo adds three new varieties on 'TNT", Confusing Charge, Ender Charge and Concussion Charge. When detonated the confusing charge causes all players in its blast range to suffer from the 'confusion' effect. The closer the player is to the blast the longer the confusion lasts. This has no effect and mobs. The Ender Charge randomly teleports players and mobs to a nearby location. The Concussion Charge combines these two effects.
Complete Spawn Control
Ender Zoo adds an xml file that can be used to custom the spawning of any mob, vanilla or modded. Change the rate of spawning, the biomes mobs are found in or remove them completely. See SpawnConfig_Core.xml in the config/enderzoo folder for details.
Global Difficulty Control
Ender Zoo allows the attack damage and health of all mobs to modified based on the current difficulty. These changes can be applied to Ender Zoo mobs, all others or both. See for config file for details.
Mod Pack Permissions
Ender Zoo has been released into the public domain. You own it as much as I do. Do what ever you want.
This mod removes zombies and skeletons. It messed up my game. I had to remove all mods and reinstall them to fix it.
I tried this out on 1.12.2 mostly for the mounted knights - love the idea and shields were a nice bonus!
I found them too easy to outrun, partly because they seem easily confused by terrain and partly because they're slow. I could only find configs to change their individual charge speeds (when they are separated).
Please consider adding overall speed configs and/or a charge config for mounted knights so they can at least catch up after they're done goofing around :]
Not sure what is going on here. This spams my server nonstop.

https://github.com/SleepyTrousers/EnderZoo/pull/171
Please contact the project owner/author if you know how
Does the spawning of these mobs work with BoP biomes?
yes, i tested for myself and it works
pan and Jen did this mod but without showing all of the features
In what version were owls added? I'm using 1.7.10, and I don't have owls. Sadface. :( They were one of the creatures I really wanted. I didn't see any info in the changes section so I thought I'd ask.
Weird issue with all the mobs spawned from EnderZoo (1.2.3.43) in 1.10.2 (Forge 12.18.1.2095). When spawned (e.g. via egg), they briefly have textures then immediately turn white all over as if they are missing a texture. Oddly enough, only the fallen steed has a working texture that does not go white. Has anyone else seen this?
Worked it out... beta version of JourneyMap. Switching to the older "release" version fixed it. Odd that a mapping mod would break textures?
i think this mod is cool but there is issues with the horses they lag some times (they spin in there position like crazy ) I fight a horse with ghost rider the rider showed that he was away from the horse after killing the horse the rider appear from no where and i suggest to take off the tiny enderman because there is other mod called "baby Mobs" all kind of babies on lol so we will have 2 babies with different abilities , try not to make conflict with other popular mods because people will chose not to have them in the game .
Good luck :)
Hmmm no mention of this 'Khndrel Keght' in the list above, and personally after playing for about 5-10 mins i feel like removing them, seen some posts saying its not supposes to spawn when using a shovel, but it still does when using a mattock from tinkers -_- and i nearly died to them twice while i was first starting out and had nothing but my fists
Khndrel Keght aka slime nights , is what its called in the configs i think ya just turn down the spawn rate and not fully diable and yes start a new world , of not the existing set blocks that are codded to be te knights will crash ur game
they scared me 3 times lol but i like being surprised this way in the game i i find it cool and this khndrel kneght some time go bigger i was like wtf 1ol
i'm bored with the creeper...
I just updated to the 1.8.9-1.1.3.35 version and allowed the owls to be enabled, they look really cool by the way :)
The problem is that they don't seem to despawn at all, and since updating I've been seeing fewer and fewer of the normal hostile mobs spawn at night. I then tried to disable the owls, but that didn't remove them, only their model, so untill I loaded the backup save I had white boxes hooting and flying around :P
Could you please make the owls despawn (more frequently) in the next update - or if that's difficult, make them actually disappear when disabled?
With cheats on, this command will remove owls: /kill @e[type=EnderZoo.Owl]
It's strange that disabling spawning also removes the texture not only of the owls but of their eggs too.
I rather like having the owl sounds around me, so it's a shame that they are too persistent and keep hostile mobs from spawning. Can't they be set as passive mobs even though they apparently attack spiders? Or have them despawn during the day, since they are, well, nocturnal ... ?
This has been fixed in 1.1.4. Sorry it took me so long to get to it. Owls where being spawned as hostile mobs (as noted). They are now correctly correctly spawned as animals.
Note that journey map shows them on both the animals and hostile mobs overlays
So, my friend was on our server close to the bottom of the map, and got hit by a concussion creeper... then got teleported BELOW the map.... and fell into the void. Is this supposed to happen? lol. I don't think this was intentional, and if it is I'm terrified of going to the bottom of the map.
