EMI for Create
EMI and Create both do their job well. Put them side by side and a few gaps show up. This mod fills them.
Client side only. Install it on your end and it works on any world or server running Create and EMI.
Your recipe tree, inside the Stock Keeper
Open a recipe tree in EMI, then open your Stock Keeper. A category at the top lists what the tree still needs and your network actually stocks. What you already own is filtered out.
Items dropped in the order basket count as owned right away, so the list shrinks as you build the order.
Stock counts in item tooltips
Bind a network with the target button in the request screen. Wear the Engineer's Goggles and every item tooltip tells you how many of it that network holds, anywhere in the game.
Saved per world. Same button unbinds. If the count can't be trusted, the line grays out and shows a question mark instead of a stale number.
Expected or raw amounts on chanced recipes
Chanced recipes read higher in EMI than in Create's JEI, because EMI pays for the failures. A sequenced assembly at 85% output chance asks for 6 where JEI shows 5. One is the cost of an attempt, the other the cost of a success.
A button in the bill of materials screen switches between them:
- Expected: the average cost of one success, snapped to whole crafts.
- Raw: the numbers the recipes declare, flat. Crafting progress then counts one for one.
Create's machines as native EMI categories
Pressing, milling, sawing, crushing, mixing, deploying, spout filling and draining, fan washing, smoking, blasting, haunting, item application, block cutting, polishing, packing, sequenced assembly, mechanical crafting. Each in its own category, drawn with the machine turning.
Skipped when JEI is installed, since EMI already reads Create's JEI plugin and every recipe would show twice. Forceable in the config.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge
- Create 6.0.7 or newer
- EMI 1.1.13 or newer
- Client side only
Configuration
All of it can be turned off or tuned in config/emicreatecompat-client.toml: when the Stock Keeper category shows up, whether the pending order counts, the rounding threshold in Expected mode, the tooltip poll rate for busy servers.
