Description

After months - New Versions! And 1.19.2 support! FINALLY!
After we announced our comback and introduced a new versioning concept for this project, we instantly disappeared again... At least it looked like we did. But we didn't.
We put a lot of effort in developing this mod and are now at a point were we can release a new, big update for the 1.12.2 and a first version for 1.19.2! This port realls is a milestone for us, save the date: 25/02/2024.
Anyways, any changes and news can be found in the changelongs.
To give a short preview to the future: As planned, we now focus on newer Minecraft versions. Main development currently is focused on 1.19.2.
A quick reminder why we have chosen to develop for 1.19.2 mainly: There are simply more possibilites. Not only is the 1.19.2 way newer, MCreator offers a lot more functions in it's newer versions (the newer versions are not compatible with 1.12.2). You will notice that EMD for 1.19.2 has way more content than EMD for 1.12.2.
But what happens to the 1.12.2?
With version "Pre-Release 7" we implemented all of the content we wanted but there is still a lot of bug fixing and balancing work to do. Development for 1.12.2 won't stop until we can publish a welldone version of the mod.
And what are your plans on even newer versions like 1.20.x?
Porting! But this will take some time.
Wait, what's with the 1.16.5?
Right now we can't say. We already have a lot to do, so we'll have to see.

Wait? EMD? What is this mod even about?!
The answer is complicated even though the concept's easy.
Emd offers a bit of everything, but the main focus of the mod is to enhance Minecraft's variation in ores, tools, armor, weapons and items in general. As you might have seen, "EMD" stands for "Every Miner's Dream" - Indicating that mining will be a whole new experience. You will notice the impact of EMD when you start an adventure in a cave: There are a lot more ores.
But not only in caves is more content: You will find new structures (Dungeons,...), new biomes (Autumn Forest, Magical Forest, Creepy Lands,...), new monsters (Autumn Zombie, Friendly Creeper, Crackhead,...), new plants (Strawberry Bush, Corn,...), new foodstuff (Strawberries, Popcorn, Cheesburger,...), new blocks, new mechanics (Magic, Frier,...) , new dimensions, ...
EMD currently features two routes: The "Fusion Stone Route" and the "Rainbow Gem Route" - Two powerful ressources. Can you craft both of them?
Understanding versioning:
ALPHA versions are very early versions of the mod. In versions marked as Alpha, we add new content without testing them for bugs. It's an early development phase were we try to fit in new content.
The first Alpha versions are currenlty unaviable.
EXP (EXPERIMENTAL) versions are, as the name says, experiments. An experiment could be porting the mod to a different game version. Porting is tough work, so we might upload experimental builds that aren't quality-checked. You shouldn't use this versions to play in a survival world.
BETA versions come after Alpha or Exp versions. It's when we have a clear path and a working foundation for our mod. In Betas, we fix bugs and add more content.
PRE(-RELEASE) means that we want to release a full version soon. It adds a bit of more content but mainly focuses on bug-fixing and completion (this idea of versioning didn't work for 1.12.2, oops).
RELEASE a finished build. Caution: Even Release builds can contain bugs!

Q: What's new in the Every Miner's Dream Mod
A: The Modification adds a bit of everything. The main focus of this mod is definitely to give the player a whole new experience in terms of mining since there are over 30 new ores. But there's more! New Biomes, new Dimensions, new Monsters, new Food, new Tools, new Armor, Guns, Dungeons & new Blocks!
Q: Why did you name this modification "Every Miner's Dream"?
A: Actually, we changed names with version "Pre-Release 1". The previous name "Extra Stuff" should signal, that the mod has loads of new additional, useful stuff. But we changed to "Every Miner's Dream" because we think, it describes the content best.
Q: Is there a Wiki where I can see recepies or other instructions?
A: No, not yet. But most recipes for tools are just like in vanilla Minecraft. I recommend you to use "JustEnoughItems" to easily view recipes. For portals to dimensions: Just build a nether portal like portal out of purple, yellow, green or blue stone. It also works with alpha cobblestone. And than right-click it with an igniter.
Q: Am I allowed to play this Mod in a modpack?
A: Yes, you are. If you upload your modpack, you have to give credit to this mod by pasting it's link somewhere where it's easy to find.
Q: Is the Mod compatible to other Mods?
A: I don't know. We cannot promise, that it will work in your modpack.
Q: Can I use this mod on servers?
A: Yes, that should work.
Q: My game crashes when I enter new dimensions! How can I fix it?
A: You need to disable OptiFine.

- The Blaze Bow is complety Work in Progess, it's not working properly in any way.
- No Ore Dicts in 1.12.2.
- The biome generation might be unbalanced in 1.19.2 (the new generator in Minecraft sucks).
- Mob spawning might be weird in some biomes.
- There is unused content in the mod.
- OptiFine is incompatible and might crash the game.
- Dungeons spawn in weird places.
- Textures are unfinished.
- Balancing problems.
- (Maybe) Wrong version number displayed in Minecraft Mod Options.
