Emberlens directly depends on Emberbium. It will not work with Embeddium or other forks.
Emberlens is a fork of Oculus, the Forge port of Iris shaders. It works with Emberbium, a fork of Embeddium.
What is different from Oculus?
Shadow Update Interval: A new slider in Video Settings that redraws the shadow pass every 1 to 4 frames instead of every frame. May cause weird flickers but boosts FPS
Terrain vertex format: The extended vertex format is selected once and read by Emberbium directly.
Less per frame CPU work and garbage: Fixes to sampler unbinding, custom uniform boxing, matrix inverse recomputation, GPU memory barriers, tangent generation and entity render ordering.
On the instance it was developed with, with a shader pack loaded, the render phase fell from 1.67 ms to 1.19 ms per frame. Your results will probably differ.
