elytra_tweaks-1.1.0-1.21.1.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.1.0
New:
- Config screen in game (Mods > Elytra Tweaks > Config), saved in config/elytra_tweaks-client.toml
- The deploy key can be Toggle (default) or Hold (the elytra stays open while you hold the key)
- Jump key option: Blocked (default, same as before), Only While Holding Firework, or Vanilla. Your deploy key always works no matter what you pick.
- The safety net can be turned off if it makes the elytra flicker in your modpack (but then other mods opening the elytra won't be stopped anymore)
- Wind sound volume slider
- Firework Takeoff key (not bound by default, set it in Controls): jumps, opens the elytra and fires a rocket. It takes the rocket from your hand or your hotbar. It uses an item for you, so check your server's rules.
- Flight HUD next to the crosshair: speed, altitude, pitch, rockets left and elytra durability (F1 hides it, and you can turn it off)
- Low durability warning: a sound and a message when your elytra is about to break (10% by default)
- Auto Swap Chestplate (OFF by default): puts an elytra on from your inventory when you use the deploy or takeoff key, and puts your chestplate back when you land. It won't touch a chestplate with Curse of Binding. WARNING: it moves items in your inventory for you, some servers might see that as cheating. Check the rules before turning it on!
Changes:
- The default deploy key is Left Alt on every version now (it was G on 26.1.2). If you already played with the mod, your old key stays.
Fixes:
- When the safety net closes the elytra after another mod opened it on the server, the server stops gliding too now. Before, the server kept you gliding until you landed and your elytra kept losing durability.
- The deploy key name and category show up properly in the controls on 26.1.2
- The client-only mixins are now registered as client-only, so they don't get applied on dedicated servers
Known issues:
- If your elytra is in an accessory slot (Elytra Slot for example), the deploy key and the takeoff let the game decide like vanilla does, but the HUD durability, the durability warning and the auto swap only look at the chest slot (and the other armor slots on 26.1.2), so they won't see it.
