Dynamic Trees for The Undergarden

Turns The Undergarden's smogstem, wigglewood and grongle into Dynamic Trees trees: they grow branch by branch from a seed, thicken with age and fall as a whole when the trunk is cut. In newly generated chunks they replace the static trees of seven biomes. Needs Dynamic Trees and The Undergarden.

Smogstem, wigglewood and grongle

• Smogstem is a tall bare pole under one crown, with its first branches 9 blocks up.
• Wigglewood is short, branching from 2 blocks up.
• Grongle is the giant: a trunk up to 3 blocks across, a canopy about 22 blocks up, surface roots and a flared base.
• All three trunks can be stripped.

Seeds

• Smogstem Seed, Wigglewood Seed and Grongle Seed plant the dynamic trees. Leaves drop them, and an Undergarden sapling crafted with a Dynamic Trees dirt bucket gives its seed.
• A placed Undergarden sapling stays static unless replaceVanillaSaplings is on in the Dynamic Trees config.

The seven biomes

• Smogstem Forest, Frosty Smogstem Forest, Forgotten Field and Rogdorium Grove generate smogstem, Wigglewood Forest wigglewood, Dense Forest both evenly and Gronglegrowth grongle.
• Only chunks generated after installing change.
• The huge mushrooms and ancient roots generate as before.
• Lost: the grongle bushes of Gronglegrowth and the smogstem bushes of Rogdorium Grove. Dynamic grongles also have no hanging grongle leaves and no gronglets.

Underground growing

• Deepturf, Frozen Deepturf, Ashen Deepturf, Deepsoil, Coarse Deepsoil and Deepsoil Farmland count as soil for Dynamic Trees. Without that, nothing would root in the Undergarden.
• Dynamic Trees leaves normally need sky light, and the Undergarden has none. The three leaves are set to need no light.
• Where it generates, smogstem also stands on snow.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1, on the server and the client. Needs Dynamic Trees 1.7.2 or newer and The Undergarden 0.9 or newer; built against Dynamic Trees 1.7.2 and The Undergarden 0.9.6. The growth shapes are Dynamic Trees' own tall birch, oak and mega jungle, used under its MIT licence.

This mod has been abandoned. It works fine, but it will not receive updates.
