Dynamic RPG HUD
A cleaner way to play. Dynamic RPG HUD smoothly hides your hotbar, health, hunger, and armor bars when there's nothing you need to look at, and instantly brings them back the moment something actually matters.
WHAT IT DOES
Your hotbar and status bars slide smoothly off the bottom of the screen instead of just sitting there all the time. The HUD tucks itself away in two situations: when you're standing still at full health and full hunger with nothing going on, and whenever you're moving, whether that's walking, sprinting, or flying. This keeps your screen clean while you explore, build, or take screenshots.
The moment something worth seeing happens, the HUD slides right back into place. That includes switching your hotbar slot, your held item changing (a different item, a stack count going up or down, a tool losing durability), taking damage, losing hunger, or picking up a status effect. Once revealed, the HUD stays fully visible for four seconds before it's allowed to hide again, so you always get a clear look at what changed.
One deliberate design choice: if you're standing still but hurt or hungry, the HUD stays visible even after that four-second window closes. It only tucks away when you're either moving or completely topped up and idle, so you can always keep an eye on a health bar that still needs attention.
Everything is animated smoothly and isn't tied to your framerate, so it looks the same whether you're running 30 FPS or 300.
SUPPORTED VERSIONS
This mod is built and released separately for every Minecraft version from 1.21.1 through 1.21.11, covering the full 1.21.x release line. Make sure to download the file that matches your exact Minecraft version.
REQUIREMENTS
Fabric Loader and Fabric API are required. This is a client-side only mod, so it does not need to be installed on servers, and installing it will not affect multiplayer compatibility.
COMPATIBILITY
Dynamic RPG HUD only changes how the hotbar and status bars are drawn on screen. It does not touch gameplay, items, or server logic, so it should work safely alongside most other client-side mods.
