Drop Hold Q
Ever dropped your sword in the middle of a fight, or thrown your pickaxe into the lava because you hit Q instead of E? DropHoldQ fixes that.
Instead of dropping an item the instant you press the drop key, DropHoldQ makes you hold it down for a configurable amount of time. A small progress bar fills up while you hold, and the item is only dropped when the bar is full. Let go early and nothing happens.
Features
- Hold to drop: set the hold time anywhere from 0 to 10 seconds.
- Progress bar: a subtle indicator under the crosshair, or above the hotbar. Can be turned off.
- Repeat mode: optionally keep holding to drop one item per interval, instead of one drop per press.
- Cancel on action: optionally cancel the hold if you attack or use an item, so fighting never drops anything.
- Drop sound: a short click when the item actually leaves your hand. Optional.
- Vanilla-friendly: Ctrl still drops the whole stack, and the drop key is whatever you have bound in the vanilla Controls screen (Q by default).
Optional
Every option can be changed in-game with Configured,
