What's new
0.1.3 Change Log
Added
- Added per-round Trainer AI configuration with three engine choices: DRM Strategy, optional RCT, and Cobblemon Strong. The DRM engine includes an 18-strategy catalog, party analysis and team-building tools, move and switch scoring, revealed-move awareness, and searchable in-editor guidance.
- Added a random Trainer party generator with generation, type, evolution-stage, Legendary/Mythical, duplicate, level, Shiny, IV/EV, nature, ability, move, and deterministic seed settings. Generator settings are saved separately for each round.
- Added Radical Trainer JSON porting from active RCT datapacks, including multi-select import of parties, stats, moves, held items, aspects, AI settings, and Trainer bags.
- Added Battle Config and Encounter Policy editors for fixed battle levels, natural drops, capture permission, once/cooldown availability, player/global scope, completion conditions, and post-battle NPC actions such as hide or despawn.
- Added FTB Quests conditions and completion actions for both Trainer and Pokemon-Itself battles. Failed rewards remain pending and can be retried safely.
- Added separate Trainer General and per-round Battle Item inventories. DRM AI can use supported healing, status, revive, PP-all, and battle-boost items through Conservative or Smart policies without consuming a real player inventory.
- Added Trainer key-item gimmicks and per-Pokemon battle mechanics, including Mega Evolution, Ultra Burst, Z-Power, Dynamax/G-Max, Terastallization, Tera Type, Dynamax Level, and Gigantamax Factor.
- Added detailed IV and EV editing with presets, range validation, EV total validation, and JSON/NBT persistence.
- Added Trainer name-source selection so battles can use either the saved profile name or the CustomNPC name.
- Added a Starter Selector editor and runtime GUI with configurable Pokemon cards, conditions, dialogue handoff, success actions, per-card audio, GUI Maker support, and party/PC delivery.
- Added a Clone Library for saving Trainer and Pokemon NPC templates or importing compatible Soul Stones, with snapshot and follow-source binding modes.
- Added a dedicated Battle Presentation pose workbench with a large 3D preview, drag rotation, zoom, per-part Pitch/Yaw/Roll controls, copy/mirror tools, resets, and pose presets.
Changed
- Round rewards are now generalized as After Actions, supporting reward delivery, FTB completion, and terminal NPC actions through one idempotent post-battle pipeline.
- Fixed-level battles now use temporary copies for both sides, preserving the player's saved levels, experience, HP, status, moves, abilities, and other Pokemon state.
- Applied Trainer, PokeMart, and Nurse Joy NPCs now resolve their latest saved source JSON at runtime. Editor saves and
/drm reloadcan update already-bound NPCs without reapplying the profile. - Battle completion now waits for a stable Cobblemon end state before running rewards, actions, restoration, and cleanup. The same lifecycle handles wins, losses, fleeing, disconnects, failed starts, and server shutdown.
- Automatic
visionandradiusTrainers can no longer be started manually by right-clicking. Chase and battle-start distance limits now support values up to 96 blocks while the movement-speed limit remains 100. - Trainer key items are now stored in the Trainer-wide General Inventory, while consumable AI items remain in each round's Battle Item Inventory. Older combined inventories migrate automatically.
- Editor screens now use searchable catalogs, clearer compact controls, improved scrolling and tooltips, localized Pokemon/item names, and layouts verified across GUI scales 1-4.
- Updated the required DRM Core version to
0.1.6or newer. RCT API0.15.1-betaor newer remains an optional integration and is not bundled.
Fixed
- Fixed Pokemon-appearance NPCs remaining in a WALK pose while idle, paused, or blocked. AUTO pose now follows measured movement with a short anti-flicker grace period.
- Fixed temporary battle Pokemon, hidden NPC state, and battle ownership sometimes surviving a failed start, disconnect, world reload, or server restart.
- Fixed addon-owned Pokemon-Itself opponents producing unintended natural loot when drops were disabled, without affecting ordinary wild Pokemon drops.
- Fixed duplicate or premature battle finalization that could repeat rewards/actions or clean up entities before Cobblemon had fully ended the battle.
- Fixed DRM AI recovery loops, overly narrow switch decisions, weak reactions to revealed attacks, and hazard strategies failing to value phazing moves.
- Fixed stale species, move, type, item, and Poké Ball names after changing the client language or reloading resources.
- Fixed already-applied NPCs continuing to use stale embedded Trainer, PokeMart, or Nurse Joy data after the source JSON changed.
- Fixed overlapping or misaligned labels and controls in condition/reward lists, Battle Gimmicks, Battle Config, Encounter Policy, detection marker, inventory, and strategy screens.
