Bring the dragon fight to the Overworld.

Dragon’s Den adds a repeatable boss encounter built around mechanics borrowed from the end dragon fight. 

Face a dragon that scorches the battlefield with spreading fire while Crystalkeepers work to restore destroyed crystals. Claim your rewards from a collectible Dragon Scale Chest, then recharge your egg to challenge the den again.

Beta note: Dens currently require administrator placement using /dragonden place ~ ~ ~. Natural generation is not yet implemented. Encounter fire can spread and damage nearby builds.
