Dragon Mounts Reforged is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft 26.1.2. It lets players hatch, tame, breed, equip, command, and ride dragons. Dragon breeds, breath types, armor, habitats, accessories, and most balance values are data-driven.
Features
- Hatchable eggs, tameable dragons, growth, breeding, hybrids, multiple riders, flight, combat, and breath attacks.
- Dragon whistle binding and cross-dimension summoning, command wheel, inventory, saddle and dragon armor support.
- Eleven built-in breeds: aether, amethyst, end, fire, forest, ghost, ice, lush, nether, sculk, and water.
- GeckoLib dragon animation/model resources and JEI subtype support for eggs, armor, and spawn eggs.
- Datapack registries for breeds, breath types, and armor; tags for habitats and target selection.
Data packs
The custom registries are loaded from these locations:
data/<namespace>/dragon_mounts/breeds/*.jsondata/<namespace>/dragon_mounts/breath_types/*.jsondata/<namespace>/dragon_mounts/armor/*.json
Use a datapack namespace other than dragon_mounts for add-ons.
